Meet Diana Serrano, Founder and CEO of Pelagic Steel Framing, a proudly women-owned company dedicated to advancing the advantages of cold-formed steel in residential construction, ADUs and Tiny Homes.

With more than 20 years of experience in cold-formed steel and aluminum building products, Diana has built her career from the ground up—rising through the ranks to manage a 100-person manufacturing facility while earning a reputation for delivering high-quality, precision-built solutions.

 

Fluent in both English and Spanish, she has continued to invest in her expertise by becoming certified in FRAMECAD steel design and gaining hands-on experience with Howick steel manufacturing systems.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Diana's metal manufacturing and construction experience allows her to confidently design, manufacture, and assemble cold-formed steel structures from concept to completion.

 

As one of the few women with hands-on experience spanning drafting, manufacturing, installation, and business ownership in the cold-formed steel industry, Diana brings a unique end-to-end perspective to every project.

 

​​​​​​​Driven by a passion for innovation and craftsmanship, Diana founded Pelagic Steel Framing with a vision of helping grow the future of steel construction while creating opportunities for the next generation of skilled trades.

Outside of work, family is at the heart of everything she does. She is the proud mother of two incredible sons and draws strength from both her Mexican heritage and her deep connection to Hawaiian culture through hula. Diana also enjoys distance running, strength training, and continually challenging herself through new personal and professional goals.

 

Diana is an active supporter of Team Michelle, where she helps raise funds and awareness for individuals and families affected by breast cancer.
